My ex-Wife was from Stoke. I've nothing nice to say about the **** hole. I don't see us getting anything from this. (Reverse psychology)
We’ve had some decent left-backs who’ve ****ed off for greener pastures. Tymon to Stoke, Townsend ended up at West Brom after we sold him to Scunny and Robbo to Liverpool, of course.
Our academy in recent years has been strangely efficient at producing quality left backs. Townsend, Tymon, Clark and Fleming and now Matty Jacob and Jake Leake both seem promising too.
I recall the missed pens that day. The chip down the middle but Boaz didn't move an inch. I also recall the 1-1, when we denied them a play-off finish and their fans went bonkers and were lashing out at anyone. Ever since then I've wished them nothing but deep grieve. Sorry to say tomorrow could be a four nil demolition.
It'll be my first City game in quite a few years Working the night shift tonight, so it'll be one looooong day Anyone know where people will meet up?
Unfortunately not strong or hard enough at the back and going forward don’t really look like scoring so only one result for me and sorry to say that’s not to us. 2 or maybe 3 . O defeat and I hate to say that but it’s just been a realist at this moment in time, Come on city shock and surprise me
Unfortunately, I can't see us getting anything from this one, could be facing the ex Tigers, they seem to have a plethora of our past players. Smallwood's remark about being more aggressive in the box is a bit worrying, maybe they will be a bit too aggressive and a sending-off or penalty looks favourite.
Big difference between being aggressive and being stupid like we have been...I took his comments from a football POV meaning attacking to ball more, putting your body on the line, getting into crosses harder and faster etc... Nothing to do with how we acted last week. At least that's what aggressive ment when I was being coached or was coaching.
I do hope you are right Howden. If not we are right in the crap. Repeats of the last fiasco cannot be tolerated by anyone.
