"Hi Mike its Richard Masters here, just thought we'd touch base with you before our court case next week to set some ground rules. We'd really appreciate it if there is no mention of the words ESL, BEin Sport, Richard Keyes, Garry Hoffman, No Red Flags, Cartel, Big 6, Private meetings with top 6, Football governance, Qatar, TV deals, Man City takeover, Burnley Takeover, Southampton Takeover, or anything else that makes us look utterly ****ing clueless"
I feel like we're getting into the end game this time. I do worry the premier league will succeed in getting it thrown out though.
I'm not sure it'll get there. That's the point - there's a threat that messy **** could come out as early as this small hearing itself, so the PL are wanting to avoid even that.
There's a reason the case is St James' Holdings v PL and not NUFC v PL. NUFC agree to PL terms and conditions, St James' Holdings and its directors who interestingly don't need to sit the owners and directors tests do not. .....and that lady's and gentlemen is the beauty of legal separation - hit them with their own game.
My position for quite some time was that no court case would ever take place. I might actually have been right about something. We will soon see. I don't see why the premier league won't roll the dice on the hearing.
Their cheeks may be starting to clench at exactly how much ****e St James' Holdings lawyers can sling in a live stream. That could cause a half decent investigative journalist to sit up, take notice and start digging, and what are they going to come up with?
Let's just hope the cat ruling goes our way.. It might be the 1st thing that has, but it might win the war.
If the PL do a deal now to avoid it - **** them, go for the throat and take them down. Every single one of them.
[QUOTE="If the PL do a deal now to avoid it - **** them, go for the throat and take them down. Can see it now news will break where the PL offered to pass the takeover if he dropped the case, Mike being the greedy bastard that he is demanded they pass the takeover and pay him an additional £100m for the anxiety its caused him and they tell him to **** off.
