The other forums are **** pal. This is miles better that them all but like all things you take the good with the bad.

Skylarker, don't go! The key, for me at any rate, is not to get involved in the likes of the banter threads. The only reason I went onto the Suarez-Evra thread was because of accusations made me angry, but OK there is a fine line between banter and slanging on occasion. It was ever thus on old 606. I never post on other team boards for example. It's asking for trouble. I'm afraid it's beyond your control, unless you become a mod. You can tell people not to get involved in slanging matches, but they won't pay any attention when they're on one. Maybe you could just take a rest and come back at a later date. Don't go entirely. There isn't much else out there. Take it from me and MITO, Sport Witness is boring and crap, you won't like it there. ja606 is just a clone of old 606 with its own personality. This is a good forum.
I think the problem is Wishi is that Sky doesn't mind the banter thread, it's the **** like the Evra and Hillsborough wums that have wound him up. The banter thread it really mild now and is generally treated as an off topic thread.
Skylarker, i hope you change your mind and stay on the forum. The forum is being ruined and we need to fight back,not walk away letting the wums win. you are one of the best Liverpool posters on here and you will be missed. If you are going to leave then adios mate. Enjoyed talking with you
See the banter thread is one of the main attributes the site has. The thread on its own is great, does exactly what I intended it to do. The trouble isnt so much multi board threads but the inability to remove the worst posters quickly and easily. They know this and take advantage. cross board discussions should be encouraged if we can control the idiots better. They after all create subjects for us to debate with.

I agree, if you are not on here to battle and wum there isn't much going on any more other than the same people with the same bull****. Some ave had the nerve to post on this thread n all. Banter thread is one of the most fk useless things on our board, it does nothing and doesn't keep the crap there, as useless as the stevie appreciation thread, 100s of pages of complete crap and stopped being worth reading a long time ago. PEOPLE DO COME ON HERE TO READ ALONE SOMETIMES Y'KNOW and well, I tell thee it aint worth a read of most threads. I say a temp ban on all other supporters apart from shared threads and see how that pans out., it means when we want to battle it out or have banter we can choose to without all of our threads being turned to sheite

I am saying the forum is getting wrecked, and have you tried just reading the banter thread as with a lot of others? No not at you, I have been guilty, I guess action needs to be taken before it just turns into the 606 on a mcnulty blog
The Evra thread got out of hand, I agree, and the Hillsborough wums, well, we've always had those, but if Skylarker believes they'll ever go away, they won't. There are wums everywhere. He can't change it. The best way to disappoint a wum is to ignore it. I just got wound up about the Suarez-Evra thing.
Eric, we have discussed in the past and when it is reasonable its fine, we had no issues, but when a few of you mancs get together on a thread, it turns to sheite. If you disagree fine, as before to comments on threads I dont keep replying and having a running battle because there are others using the forum too, I say my piece and if you come back I may or may not reply depending on the afore mentioned repsect for others even though I do have the urge to keep going. I think a lot of us are guilty of being Richards on here and though each individual offence is small the net effect is a **** board P.S I am cetainly not free from guilt on this matter, I like a bit of stick but lets keep it to match day or something
