I love schadenfreude. We stole the word from the Germans but it is particularly useful when you are English and our British neighbours are completely screwed up.

Wee Jimmy McKrankie is making such a mess of running Jockland that she has had to call in the British Army to drive ambulances and run plague test centres. Just as well that this is not independent Jockland as there would only be a Scottish Army and the Scottish Navy would consist of a couple of fishing smacks and no nuclear submarines.

If Boris were making such a shambolic mess, the media would rightly be demanding that he explained himself. In Parliament he and his ministers would be being held to account not just by opponents but his own side.

How can anybody North of the Border be stupid enough to support this failing one trick pony – that cannot even manage to do the one trick? Wee Jimmy’s policy agenda appears to be driven exclusively by the diktat that she must do everything differently to how the English are doing it. So when Boris dumps vaccine passports, they have to have them even if they are logistically ludicrous.

Perhaps this is a new tactic by the SNP. Make life in Scotland so unbearable that everyone that does not support them moves South of Hadrian’s Wall, leaving the SNP with an Independence majority. It would be quite some trick, turning the country into a poverty stricken Marxist fiefdom before leaving the United Kingdom.
