kids in that age group will be given a choice. Parents and option to protect their kids.

I'm working on the ltheory that since the vaccine committee didn't recommend the 12-15 year olds as negligible medical benefits and the decision made by the CMO was more to do with school disruption than anything else that the younger age group the risk / benefit analysis is weighed more heavily on no vaccine .

parent an option to protect to their kids. You not read that part. Should only let kids decide if they have school flu jab/spray then?

Five years olds will all make the same choice.

"NO! I don't want to be stuck with a needle!."

Incredibly people will risk thy kids with something no one can tell you the future of.....even though there's enough evidence of serious side effects at present to hold it back from them until more trials are done over the next 5-10 years

I could imagine how the discussion would go with my grandchild...

Nurse: would you like to have this needle to protect you?
    Gchild: do you like spiders?
Nurse: no not reallly, do you?
    Gchild: you don't like spiders?
    Nurse: Noooo
    Gchild: I like spiders :)
Nurse: ok, let's forget about the needle.
    Gchild: bye

Actually they haven't been given a choice as it isn't even got UK regulatory approval never mind been through the process of being considered for usage in that age group .

so what’s the rattling about 5-11 being offered it?

either way, if it’s offered, she is having.

others can make their own choice as the 50k who died in the first six months of this year did, to not have a vaccine.

it has passed FDA regulatory trials in the US .
the chances of a 5 - 11 yr old dying is less than 1:1000000 so your 50k deaths isn't particularly relevant .

Again, it’s up to the parents. So many hissy fits over something that isn’t mandatory.

If I had kids, I wouldn’t allow them to have the vaccination and then let them decide when they turn 16
