It's very different. Clothes are a lot more expensive than food. I'm used to just hoying stuff around
Was just going to mention that and say i think you might have posted it on here One thing it doesn't explain is how the goods are replenished in the compartments below the grid.
Ahh, change of goods then. I would imagine there is a fair weight difference though so in some ways a lighter/easier job once you get used to it.
I think the previous one I put up was Erith, that one is Andover, this video shows you a bit of what goes on underneath it all... The major problem with the system as I see it is fire. They've had at least two major fires with this system.
I personally don't think it would take much to get that lower level automated. Give it another decade and it probably will be automated. You just then need the IT people to run the systems and engineers to carry out any servicing and repairs.
You would have to push it much further back down the line so that goods came into the warehouse ready for unloading and putting straight into the system which would mean each supplier delivering in containers suitable for the grid which in turn would possibly mean them changing their packing/picking process. It can and will be done but it will take time.
We have no drivers, we are all gonna starve, and become zombies, as we have no gas.. Zombie, zombie oh oh, ffs **** song
