This Honestly who gives a **** if it's not "dedicated servers", my gameplay on MW2 hasn't suffered one bit, and there's still 33 million playing that at the moment as well.
I remember buyin black ops. This was the evening after midnight launch. 9.2million (worldwide) were on black ops. I put on MW2 and there were still 4million (worldwide) I was impressed.
I read that figure last night on a forum, it may relate purely to people who have logged on a played in the last month even for 1 minute etc...still quite a stat though. Avoided Black Ops...hate Treyarch
I think as long as a video game is fun then that's all that matters. There are people who take it all too seriously and get bogged down with tiny intricate details, but at the end of the day it's meant as entertainment, nothing more. That being said, I highly recommend everyone thinking of buying Modern Warfare 3, of looking into Battlefield 3 also. I've bought every COD since the original Modern Warfare, but I have to admit Battlefield looks amazing. It'll never achieve the same hype as Call of Duty but it could well be a better game, who knows until they come out. Think they come out at the same sought of time also, so might be worth looking into both, don't see the point in being loyal to a brand that's only after your money. Although no doubt MW3 will be worth playing for the campaign alone, they're always epic.
I'll be getting BF3 when it's released next week, I'm sure MW3 will be good for those that like COD but ever since I played Battlefield Bad Company 2 I haven't went back to COD. If you like the one man army action of COD then you probably won't like the co-operative teamplay used in most BF games, I prefer to be a team player than K/D ratio whore. In COD it's all about perks, kill streaks etc I can't be arsed with that, in BF you can use tanks, jeeps, boats, helicopters and jets as well as the usual run and gun. There's no guarantee BF3 will be as good as BC2 but I have every faith that it will be.
MW3 looks too similar to Black ops which tbh is ****e, might have a gander at Battlefield 3 if worst comes to the worst ill be back on MW2 quickscoping so knob heads
It's nice to see that some people agree that it doesn't matter about gameplay, graphics or dedicated servers as much as if you enjoy playing the game. Who still plays Crash Bandicoot when pissed?
