He was and over recent years he had become error prone and seemed to lack belief, he certainly hasn't been playing well and was looking like he would be back up to Henderson. Things change.
Henderson looked good at Sheff U. But I don’t think he can step up top level. People forget his PL error letting a pea roller in against Liverpool for Sheff U.
I'm not even a de Gea critic but he did look well dodgy to me early in the first half, but over the 90+ mins, he led his team to a win, as you suggest, confidence.
Henderson is never good enough to be our No.1 keeper. No chance. Pleased De Gea has found some of his mojo back as when he's on form he's a very good keeper.
Been a bit distracted, mother-in-law taken into intensive care this morning with sepsis and has opted for DNR, so the missus is parked by the phone waiting for updates ... the old girl is a tough old boot, so won't peg out without a fight ... Just caught up with the footie and will watch on MOTD ... but sounds like the penalty was harsh as Vestergaard only had his arm where it was as he was being fouled and we've had 2 goals ruled out because Harvey Barnes was unsighting the keeper ... sometimes them's the breaks in footie and you just have to roll with them ... hopefully it will balance out over the season.
Cheers buddy - she's survived a double aneurysm and clot that have left her paralysed down one side (2017) so she doesn't lack fight ... she was burning up last night and they were worried she had Covid... which she doesn't ... but she has infections in chest, urinary tract and her legs have swollen hugely ... not good, poor old dear.
it's not losing a football match, it's your moronic abe-esque reasoning skills that wind me up, and knowing you have a vote despite them.
Wonder if the motd crew even mention these blatent dives.. Doubt it very much, Ronny probably not foreign enough
