It's amazing how big the european burden is when you dont quite have the resources to hand. Leicester are in for a hard season right now. Could turn good later but I think people need to see what we did this week in context. Made a couple stupid errors, didnt take glaring chances. Overall absolutely destroyed acmilan with intensity and followed it up with a pro showing v palace where the know nothings are wondering how lucky were we etc. That's a big squad and using players we had no right to expect anything big out of. Leicester dont have it. City failed to do it. Man utd are grinding against west ham. Yes we got the right opponent, yes ac milan are bot a top opponent and yes both games were at home but are brighton, southampton much better? Or young boys or Leipzig?? Let's see how we go
Wan Bissaka took out a West Ham player in penalty area off the ball. The ball then went on to an offside attacker. Ref gives a free kick. Looked like the penalty decision should have been given
Bissaka was probably thinking if Pickford can get away with one against Van Dijk, I should get away with this.
It's quite clear that City's problem is that they don't spend enough. How are they expected to compete.with only ten times as much money as everyone else?
Noble you bellend. Why did he come on, surely England proved at the s bringing on player to take the pen isn’t good idea. Also why wasn’t Ronaldo sent off for the 2 dives? Both times he dived into the tackle
I only sat down for the last 15 minutes of the West Ham game….have no idea what the game was like before but Utd got lucky with a poor pen by Noble after a very good finish by Lingard. Hardly champions form but I guess it’s a win for them.
The irony that Ronaldo dives twice for a penalty, then the 3rd time he appeals should have been given as he was just brought down. The boy who cried "wolf" springs to mind. Moyes showing he still has not got a clue by bringing Noble on for the West Ham penalty. Lingard's goal was decent though, and he did not over celebrate after being on loan at West Ham last season. Always a bit awkward for a player in that position.
Didnt even think that last one for Ronaldo was a pen. He goes down before any contact is made, and then zouma catches him. If he stays on his feet and waits for the contact then clear pen. Was one of those classic drops both feet to the floor to initiate any contact and start falling
yeah, they looked quite open at the back when WHU attacked. I just can’t see them winning this league playing like that.
they were very lucky. Nowhere near champions form and should have dropped we’re it not for that brainstorming decision by Moyes. This title is ours to lose.
