Redmond shows that Ralph rates him. Or that Ralph can't change his team sheet, as it's probably pre-printed with '11 Nathan Redmond'. The sheets are probably produced by the same company that produced the Season Tickets...
Apart from Salisu, I’m loving this team. Probably lose 6-0 now. EDIT: oh wait, KWP is left back. Thought he and Tino on the right. Okay well, getting closer Ralph haha
I am concerned that our full backs don’t have much defensive nous in front of them to protect them and if we are playing 4-1-4-1 (as hinted at on the BBC site) I can see space being exploited around Romeu, especially if they are going with 4-3-3. Starting to get nervous about this game now, and will get even more nervous if Romeu gets an early yellow.
I'm just slightly optimistic. Mainly because Ake is playing and he looked really vulnerable in Citeh's champions league game.
Yeah my City friend says he’s a goal a game for the opposition. Trouble is we’ll need at least three of those!
I thought he'd play Djenepo in this considering the defensive shift he's put in against better teams recently. Salisu is odd too but maybe he thinks Bednarek is better positionally to deal with their intricate passing. Glad Che is back.
That’s like saying, “I fancy my chances against this stampede of rampaging African elephants, because that one way at the back is just an infant.”
What can I say...I'm a glass half full person! I should probably have rephrased that though. *I'm slightly optimistic we might score!
Good attacking threat on the break potentially, but like others, just don't get Salisu being dropped.
My guess regarding the CBs is that Beddie and Stephens are better with the ball at their feet. Salisu’s a unit and a great tackler but I think his control and passing are still a bit inferior to the others. Ralph is obviously expecting the ball to be in our half for the majority of the game.
Hi Badger, finding my way on saintsplayer again. Might need a hand later if can't find the game! I'm guessing its the premier league zone though?
Yes, you don't need someone so physical for Man City but his pace might have been useful unless we are playing really deep.
I've struggled of late, and I think thy are closing them down. Try this though: https://streamsgate.tv/
Rather than pace I think acceleration and agility are necessary against City, because of the quick passing we’ll have to defend against. Salisu’s pace is great for the Newcastle-style 50-yard long balls over the top, but maybe not so much for the ping ping tiki taka.
