Next time try chinese paper lanterns. They won't achieve much but at least you'll have something interesting to look at instead of your team.
Without max we'd go down rock bottom. It's just give it to him and not much else going on. On to the next one....
North Macedonia looked like that wouldn’t struggle against Newcastle, would also beat their woman’s side.
Another club about to bite the dust, I knew they had negotiated a 9 point deduction instead of 12, but I didn't know things were this bad... https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/58604851
Read this on one of our forums elsewhere. SSN just suggested the EFL might waive the 9 point deduction under some rule to avoid clubs being overly punished for financial issues. Didn't think about that when they deducted Luton 30 points. Derby seemed to be getting away with this for a while now, Bending the rules, buying the ground etc. Perhaps helps Morris being in cahoots with the boys at the top of the EFL. They only seemed to pull their fingers out when Steve Gibson started asking awkward questions
They still face the prospect of the 9 point deduction on top of the 12 they’ll get for going into admin. So they’re basically ****ed and a L1 club in waiting. They chased the dream of the PL in recent years more than trebling their wage bill, and they fell short. Now the owner can’t continue to fund the overspend so he’s had to put it in admin. This is where football needs to sort itself out, as owners who sanction vast overspend should be personally liable for it, as for me, it’s their debt, same as if they’d sanctioned loans, but the fact that it’s operational losses gives them a legal pass, but it shouldn’t in the world of football. I’ve no issue with a chairman investing in his club, but it has to be either made sustainable or personally guaranteed by him, so that the club itself doesn’t ever come under threat.
This is all carried over from last season, technically they should have been relegated and in L1 this season and Wycombe should have stayed up... So they should take the hit twice as per the rules, fook em, they've already been let off once by staying undeservedly in the Championship.
