The main thing is it will get under the skin of the liberal left and there’s no greater win than that.
Interesting that Andrew Neil has hinted, in not so many words, that he left GB News because it was moving too far to the ‘populist right’ and not where he envisaged the channel (at least that’s what I think he was saying) I honestly cannot see it, but if someone like he says so, being an interviewer/ journalist that I do actually admire in many ways, maybe there is something to it.

Id certainly agree that age is a factor, but only as much as other factors. Like I mentioned when I go to a *** and booze type shop I’m usually in a minority of one the rest regardless of age just don’t wear them. Usually if I’m in somewhere like Waitrose the vast majority will again regardless of age. I’d certainly think how and what type of media people choose to consume, the areas they live can play a more a factor than age.
I’m one of those metropolitan liberal elites Staines, got a rep to upkeep. I thought I was letting my guard down by admitting to going to local booze and *** shops, if my friends find out I’ll be crucified at tomorrow night’s dinner party
Except that Imperial is not being brought back to replace Kilo's. Simply that it is no longer illegal (as it was under EU law) for sellers to sell only in Imperial. So, at the end of the day, market forces will determine which system suits British consumers best. Rather than consumers being dictated to by the Brussels bureaucrats.
Mate If you’re in Birmingham next Saturday I’ve organised our companies entry in the pride parade, should be a blast. Usually we take about 10-15 to these events, my first time organising and I’ve got a hundred going including the chair woman coming over with a group from America.
Sorry to say I’m at our works (late) Christmas do next Saturday so will drink a pint or two in honour of your good self. You’re far too organised for me Wills….I couldn’t organise myself, let alone 100 people
Plenty of food in my local shops…you can even get a Nando’s and Maccie D’s vanilla milkshake so I’m led to believe. Dunno about Quinoa and Honduran root salad in Waitrose though…that could be tricky
I'm relieved, Strolls. We make our own decisions. Increasingly, there are examples. The AUSUK alliance could not have been achieved had we been in the EU. Brussels would have forbidden it under French pressure. The EU are beginning to realise that a proper defence strategy is not possible without UK participation and the Dutch prime minister is in London today to negotiate this. Surely you like the fact that low paid workers are being paid more, because employers can't undercut the market by bringing in cheap East European labour? Unemployment in the UK is incredibly low, 4.9%, much lower than virtually all EU states The future is close cooperation between the UK and the EU
