The UK tax payers fund Oxford AstraZeneca studies and bring a totally safe and effective drug to market at cost but sell it to foreigners at a profit.

9 months later agree to buying hundreds of millions of doses of Pfizer for profit jabs from America enough to jab every man woman and child of the UK 10 times over .

Then send millions to Australia at no cost in a swap deal where they buy millions of the same Pfizer shots and send them half way across the World back to us later rather than buying them direct from from America.

 

To be fair, the Aussie public don't want any vaccines.
