He did well for the goal and showed some nice flashes early on. He also failed to do the basic defensive work that's needed in the role he's in. Basically gave up on trying to tackle Tait for their goal, for example. He's got all the skill in the world. He doesn't work hard enough to use it well, though.
Apart from that one back heel he has been awful. That ain't me being negative mate. It is simply a fact. I expect a lot more from a geezer who cost £60m plus, playing in his 3rd season for us.
