Even if it sounds a little sycophantic, I would like to start by saying that I feel that our Moderators are trying to do a very difficult job and are doing it very well. However, this issue of cross-board threads is showing clearly how the system itself is letting them down. When a thread initiated on another board appears on our board there is no way that they can remove it - even if they know it is going to cause offense or quickly degenerate. Surely there must be some way that they can be given the power to not accept/delete it from our board? Today we have 2 threads (Rangers and Popplewell) that were certain, if not designed to, cause offence. The major culprits for that are gloating pver the inability of our Moderators to stop them. This is just wrong. Does anybody know how we can make representation to Syd or Mick to tell us why they cannot allow our Moderators to do their job in our best interests? I'm not asking for the complete removal of cross-board threads (the poem at the start of the Norwich thread was really good) but our Moderators must be allowed to do their job. No wonder Sky wants to go!
I'm going to email him. Even as a United supporter some of the posts from the GC today have been absolutetly cretinuous towards your lot. I'm all for banter but these people have no morals. Also, I think Luv (sugar tits ) is doing a good job.
I think im probably going to go the way of Sky, TBH i think this whole site has gone down hill very quickly since the season started!
This has become, quite frankly, worse than the old 606 EVER was. What the hell motivates these cretins? Utterly appalling behaviour
Right then. We need to get this sorted out. Someone needs to provide us with step by step instructions to do what needs to be done to eradicate this completely bulls..t. All three of our mods need to get together and lobby whoever is required before the Liverpool forum disappears all together and all the decent characters are all gone. Don't let sky's possible sacrifice be made in vain. Come on lads. All for one and one for all - that includes the obvious mance aswell.
Why the shock? Not606 has always been like this. ALWAYS. just that it's normally been contained on GC. Obviously merging GC with normal boards isn't gonna make for happy users so it needs to be sorted quickly as this is the issue. For those saying it's worse than old 606 than they have short memories! old606 was terrible and spiteful towards the ends, there were just consecutive threads by wums saying "why are liverpoo so ****?" etc etc.
Pm mick and Syd. I had a problem with the chat board being at the top of the homepage as I didn't want to see that vile ****e when I logged in, so Mick just moved it to the bottom of the homepage then eveventuall removed it. The admins aren't mind readers, they can only resolve the issue if we help them.
Someone mentioned mind readers, spot on. Your mods have asked the question but its Mick who alters the system, if it can be altered. TBH threats of I'm off dont do it for me, far better to simply PM me or Mick and say I have a concern and we will do what we can. I will PM Mick now and see what can be done, just be aware that Mick can take a while to get back, depends on his work load but get back we will.
League Admins. Thats what we need. Sensible posters who can control the content on the PL, CS, L1, L2, SPL, CL etc.... Get Mick to give them the ability to impose temp bans ( not full so that nobody can go power mad ) which mick can decide if they are to be made permabans. Would give mick and syd easier jobs and srtop them getting pestered aswell as give a little more control where needed without having 100+ moderators.
The forum has decended into some sort of cock shaking game where some losers try to annoy people and ridicule.. pretty much trashing this place for their own kicks. Don't frequent it much because of the likes of those, with the same fkn nonsense every thread. Its fine for a bt of a laugh but every ****ing thread! gets really boring, am pretty bored of certain individuals appearing on EVERY liverpool thread almost when they dont even support the club.
