I think you are thinking too much about the more recent history on here mate. We had a two week international break which inevitably led to the usual **** as there was no football. This was followed by the United / Liverpool game which again is going to cause arguments in itself. Then there was the fall out of the game diving / and other accusations. I'm sure it will all die down after this weekend when there has been other games to talk about. It would be a shame for the site to lose one of the better contributors. I went and deleted an account i had on sporting witness, that was a good decision on my part. In the end its entirely up to you but the issue is one of control and the modification to the site has led to an out of control situation. In fairness to sky i can see that the past two weeks are not the only issue, the creation of a banter thread was designed i nrepsonse to the growing issue and to be frank the inability to close off multi board threads or at least remove our board from them means the banter can't be reasonably contained and avoided. The good things about a non "big company" forum is we have the jokes, and the funny pics and humour here but the best word is swamped I would hope you can reconsider here as its not a top down issue like on 606 or sporting witness (differing reasons) but rather just something that needs fixing. that can be fixed and should be fixed

Hum. Interesting. I did stop going on here for a while until recently. However it is still the best forum going, it's just struggling a bit atm. I still think distancing ourselves from United fans and getting back to basics will help. It's too much of a love in, which can quickly turn the other way. Our board is like a joint chat board, not the Liverpool one it used to be.
If we go that way though we become like old 606. It has its problems as it is but its still better than that surely. Maybe restrict cross board threads or use the PL forum for those sorts of things?
