Let's hope we didn't get any of their dirty blood in the cuts on our knuckles caused by pummeling their pale faces
That's what happens when you're good. Plenty of Liverpool gloryhunters about too, they just happen to be about 10 years older.
That is very true... All the kids in my school were either local teams ie QPR, Fulham or Chelsea...or Liverpool...and there we more Liverpool fans than the rest put together.
Bunch of ****y Northeners having to get together to act hard. Different story when you're on your own though.
I met a Leeds fan once who was a scouser Very odd comibination. There are loads of Liverpool fans in the Wigan/Leigh area unfortunately. I suppose it's not a million miles from Liverpool, but they do tend to be of a certain age.
Well, I went to primary school in the 80s, but it was in Salford so there were no Liverpool fans. One on my street though. I live just inside Wigan Borough now though, and go shopping in Leigh, and you see plenty of Liverpool shirts. Whenever people talk about gloryhunting though, they always seem to mention United, but Liverpool picked up millions of non-Scouse fans in the 70s and 80s, as Arsenal and Chelsea (and even City now) in recent years. It's just as bad (if not worse) in Scotland with the Old Firm teams I think.
