wilks and magennis are only recently back from layoffs. honeyman was the best player last season, despite three players scoring in double-figures.

Honestly I don’t think a fully fit magennis and wilks are that much better at this level. I think grant is clutching at the last straw with this one

 

We should have signed a championship seasoned centre half and a goal scorer that has experience at this level. We’ve gone for youth, whilst I support that strategy it still needed a sprinkle of division relevant experience.

 

Problem is you just don't get that on a shoestring budget.

Id say we dont even need a goalscorer, our wide-men will get the goals if we just had someone up top to help facilitate that. I was always a fan of what Nicky Forster brought to the team, think he took a bit of flack for his scoring record though.
