It's Asda smartprice noodles, sweats. 15p. You're guaranteed to live 20 years less just by inhaling the steam as you cook them. First day off since I started, today - I'm bloody knackered! So much for students not doing owt in the 1st year!
Going round some friends' house tonight for tea - all I really wanna do is piss off to bed.

Evening all. Well, an era would appear to have passed, just spoke to this bloke who seem keen on buying my car and in about a week i'll be tootling round in a Clio. Gutted. Very seriously contemplating not doing it. We're going to be MPV owners!! No way.
My own fault for not keeping my bollocks in my pants. Next stop, doctors appointment to have the ****ers lopped off.

How are we all? Still contemplating the wierd negativity of Fergies selection on Saturday or happy in the knowledge he sees City as the bigger rivals and is keeping the powder dry for Sunday? Tallking of which, I am up in Mancheser this weekend. Great, not been up for a while.
The downside I'll be at Chester Zoo whilst the game is on!! Happy days, the joys of realigned priorities.

I'll have to make up for that slightly by hitting town on Saturday and shopping and feeding and having a few good ales.

    Any news?

Sweats, the course is alright mate - I seem to get on with everyone just fine. That'll no doubt change when the pressure's on and they're getting on my tits. Tunns, I'm far too old to indulge in jaeger bombs our whatever the frig these kids do. I drink tea and listen with feigned interest (well, I am doing an acting course) as they tell me how smashed they were the night before. Like I give a ****.

Tags, join the people carrier set - all the cool kids are doing it! I scratched my rear bumper today. Well ****ed off! I reversed into a space and didn't see the concrete bollard waiting to ruin my day. I blame the two pissant sheds either side of me. They were both ****ty ****ing toy cars, a Suzuki Swift and some other piece of trash. As I was reversing in, my bonnet was miles in front if theirs but I hadn't really taken much notice of the size/make of their cars and therefore reversed to line my car up so it wasn't sticking miles out into the carpark. Little did I realise that they had both reversed right back into the spaces and because their cars were tiny, their front ends were a mile behind where a normal car's would be.
    Crunch.
What are the odds of me parking between two tiny bastard cars that head both parked as far back as they could. ****ing morons. Yes, they're the morons, not me.

Don't know about you, but the new publicity shot for the roses reunion reminds me of 4 smack head tramps, ****ing each other in an alley, when suddenly a copper shines a light in their faces...'It's not what it looks like, chief!'

    You going to it Tunns?

Looks like I am now, on the Saturday. Wouldn't bother but a few mates are so we may as well get together and relive our misspent youth.

I'd like to go, but 30,000 Mancunians off their tits, all telling me they were there at the first gig in the dog and duck back in 84 or whatever doesn't really float my boat. I love the Roses, don't get me wrong, but some things are better just left to the glory of immortality through musical beauty. **** knows what they'll sound like now.

Or the Shirehorses as support for the Roses.

If you change you mind get a ticket for the Saturday and we'll meet. I'm going to buy a ticket, may as well as I don't doubt there'll be a few of us go.

Promise I won't be off my tits.

pretty much how much how i feel about it. Plus I'm not subsidising Brown's divorce, he hasn't contributed to my dues, don't care how much I love the music.

Though Chops one niggling little bit of me things **** it go, especially as i didn't go to the Blur re-union and now really really it bugs me i didn't, then my mrs reminds me of the last time i saw the charlatans - basically a room full of pissed up scallies & chavs, only with the Roses it will be 100 times bigger/worse!

.... but still that inner demon keeps taunting me

    ha ha

i saw them about 6 years ago(I think) at the Uni, packed with the usual suspects & the mighty "soul crew" (god I dispise them) mostly males in there mostly bladdered and tense ... it was the charlatans FFS! at the end of the gig the lights went on, the band had gone, and the entire mosh pit started jumping up and down chanting manchester la la, manchester la la - in broad south wales accents - what was all that about?

Yeah, very strange seeing as they are from south Cheshire!

Did you see Ian Brown as the Uni a few years back when he walked off because he reckoned some had spat at him? There were mainly people my age, again the usual supsects but it didn't have a soul crew edge if memory serves (which given the E, beer, vodka and cranberry and weed it probably didn't).

He had a little hissy fit and then carried on anyway! Great gig that was, couldn't sing a ****ing note.
