Afternoon all In regards to Struijk it’s three games he is going to miss, if his absence costs us points that could be the difference between another season in the PL and relegation, it could cost us positions and that leads to financial loses. Bielsa needs to stop being so stubborn over this particular issue, it’s an unusual case
More people saw no foul never mind a red card offence. We also saw conflicting advice from senior refs who again said no offence, not even a yellow card offence. So why Bielsa reacts like this is upsetting because his stance is damaging our season potentially
Now the dust has settled a bit I'm very surprised we haven't challenged the Red Card. Nobody is coming out with oh what a bad tackle. you know a bad tackle when you see it this wasn't. The injured lad has said some nice words in defence of Struijk again something that would help in his defence. Most TV programmes and Football media Men have sympathy for Struijk so why we haven't challenged it beats me. Struijk was shocked at the time I agree but now everything has settled down everyone see's it was an accident and he wouldn't be victimised. What worries me more in the injuries Koch,Llorente,Forshaw 4 games in all already they have been In,Out,In,Out. Do they just like doing the hokey Cokey lol. Not doubting any lack of ability here they all have something about them but we need them playing not just saying we will be fine when they are back. They have just come back we shouldn't be asking that question again. The Club thinking Forshaw was our missing midfielder for the season is a bad move. you can't rely on someone just to hit the ground running. but nothing can be changed now till Jan. Teams are torturing our Fullbacks this season and the fear factor of us is gone teams know what to expect now facing us . Then when our front line isn't working the way we play we are always going to concede. The space we gave Liverpool's front men was quite worrying they absolute had a field day. We seemed to go out there and say ok we are going to score more than you. Now till the end of October fixture list will tell us where we are. Home: West Ham,Watford,Wolves. Away: Newcastle,Southampton,Norwich Six Games there 18pts up for grabs You are wanting over 10-12pts surely
According to the Athletic Leeds Utd are submitting papers to the Premier League this afternoon regarding appealing the red card. About fkg time too. The decision has been taken by the club which means Bielsa will have been informed
About fkg time we challenged this under performing set of tosspots, Bielsa needs to grow a pair of balls, yes the honeymoon in my eyes are over down to business now and fck the lot of them at Lancaster Gate too.
According to the bbc sports website Leeds have confirmed that they have sent an appeal in over the red card Hope this is true so I don’t have to seriously fall out with someone The w.a.n.k.e.r.s at the fa may well not overturn it but at least we will have supported struijk which is so important for the man himself and the club in general
News Update: FA have docked Leeds Utd 15 points for having the nerve to appeal red card, under FA rule Num bollocks...
pointless argument though doc… sides would pick Rodrigo as a striker- here he competes with Bamford for that position and bielsa prefers paddy. No one in their right mind would sign him as a midfielder. Currently he’s sharing that attacking midfield role with Roberts, and as unpopular as it is, reality is we seem to look better when it’s Roberts there. I may be mistaken but the goals I remember rod scoring late last season were when paddy was out or when he replaced him … not scored from midfield.
Bargain of the year. My brothers grandson wants to go to a Walsall game, so me and my lad are going with them, it has to be a night match as he plays Sat and Sun. Just booked 4 tickets, as we're both over 60 and they're under 18, it's cost us the grand total of £4.00...a quid each ffs
