Assuming that Cork and Lallana are both fit for the weekend, it's a luxury to be able to introduce a couple key players back into the lineup who should be well-rested. As both teams could be a little tired, I wonder whether it might be a good game to throw de Ridder out there on the right wing to put a bit of extra pressure on their defenders.

Sky Bet have got Reading to win at 15/8 and Saints to win at 5/4... you can clearly see where the money's going can't you!

Keep Le Fondre quiet and we should win it.

Wouldn't worry about fans getting over-confident, Adkins will never tolerate that in the players and they are the ones that count. What we don't want is to be caught out like we were at Derby.

Don't think Atkins will really want to change a winning team if all are fit as I note he is quick to reward success which makes sense. The only one might be Cork for Schneiderlin as I think Morgan was put in to carry out a specific task last night. If Lallana is fit, could be similar to Brighton away last season where he can come on at any time if required - we shall see, what a great decision for Atkins to have to make, shows the depth of this squad of players COYS

Please win Please win Please win!

I'll never hear the end of it if we lose! I'll be ecstatic. Le Fondre will score but we'll grab a draw. 1-1.

Good to see common sense and caution on this thread-I'm quite sure the Biscuit Boys will give us a tough test. I'd be happy with a point. Poco a poco, as they say!

Of the 3 games we had this week this was the one I wasn't confident about. Expect Reading to be in top 6 at end of season, they've started to find a bit of form and normally come strong 2nd half of season.....sod it, I've changed my mind.....Saints 2-1 win.

ps. Getting 11-51 train from Southampton Central to Reading, bit early I know but we're going to have leisurely lunch!! Three of us travelling, is anyone interested in making up a fourth for a Groupsave.

We are all guilty of being ecstatic after a win, then quickly becoming doubters prior to next match. Let's believe what Claridge says (for once): Southampton are the real deal. If we go for a win, we will be right more than we'll be wrong by a large margin.

Looks like it's going to be Reading's biggest crowd of the season - that's 3 in a row for The Saints, as Pride Park and St Marys had their largest gates so far aswell.

Betting odds are pretty even on this, presumably because our away form is poorer than home form. However, Reading's home form is poor..got to be a Saints win.

Yeh it'll be quality. I'll be getting a train that arrives at Reading for 16.00, the shuttle bus to the MadStad, meeting this lad at gate 9 to collect my ticket, and watching Lambert stick 2 past Federici.

Well I was wrong last time. It was a close match, albeit with the correct result. Now it's come around to give another side a real turning over. I'm not asking for 6-0, a la Saganowski against WolvesSomething slightly humiliating, like the 5-2 against Ipswich, would be nice. But, let's not be too greedy. I'll settle for 3-1. A two goal difference from an Away fixture. Classy..!
