    Match Preview;
    I'm a mixture of slightly disappointed about today's game, as we were 3-1 down to a team who had only won one of their opening 5 games, but also very pleased that we showed the determination and character to get two goals in the last eleven minutes to grab a draw. It also sounded like Andre Gray made a big difference when he came on, not only with the goal but with other contributions too. Long may that continue.

    Bournemouth beat Barnsley 3-0, with Solanke netting his 4th goal of the season, and Zemura getting the other two. Parker was smiling like a Cheshire cat in his post match interview, and he does seem to have got a decent side. Young players, like Zemura, Kilkenny and Man City loan, Morgan Rogers, are playing alongside experienced players like Cahill, Stanislas and Jamal Lowe. After failing to get back to the Premiership via the playoffs last year, Parker will surely be hoping his side can secure an automatic spot this season.

    A bit late but;
    Team News
    QPR: Luke Amos, Sam Field, Charlie Owens and Lee Wallace will all miss out for the R’s.

    Bournemouth: Lewis Cook and Junior Stanislas remain sidelined and will miss out.

    Pre-match Talk
    Mark Warburton (QPR manager): “We have to rise to the challenge and keep on moving forward as a club. We know it’s a very tough test for us – but Scott will know we’re a dangerous team as well.

    “We go there with respect, but we go there to attack the game as well."

    COME ON YOU SUPER HOOPSA!!!

    I think we'll have a much better idea about how good we are after this game.
    I'd take a point right now.

    We tend to play better against better opposition. Hopefully we'll turn up and look like a really professional outfit at this level.

    Which raises a side point... we need to get to that stage where easier teams are actually easier for us. We need to play consistently and to our strengths, regardless of opposition.

    Teams that really challenge for promotion manage to do this. Until that, we won't be ready for a real promotion challenge, let alone being able to survive the league above.

    What a lovely headache Warburton has with regards to strikers. I wish we could say that for the defensive midfielder position.

    Big game this, two unbeaten teams, got to say I fancy Bournemouth to retain their record, and I’d be delighted if we could join them by sneaking a draw. It will be very interesting to see what Warbles does with team selection and shape this time - play our game or adjust to counter them.

    Too many ****ing games in this league.

    Cheers Dave.

    Agree Sb, this will be our first big game challenge and second away game in a row too. Could go so many different ways for us … 1: a high teamwise with the comeback, while also realising we need to be tighter at the back after letting Reading put three past us and we pull off a surprise win; 2: Bournemouth on a good run, just put three past Barnsley at home and up for banging in more against a fragile defence; 3: a really entertaining game with both teams cancelling each other out for a scoring draw; 4: a total bore draw that has everyone saying neither side is up to it.
    My pick? Absolutely no bloody idea :emoticon-0102-bigsm … but I’m hoping for option 1 and thinking it’ll probably be option 3.

    Seems to me every game in the Championship is a big challenge, very little difference between top and bottom so far. The recently relegated teams have Budget advantages, but they often have other problems. I struggle to see Reading or Forest remaining bottom 3, or Cov top 6, but anything can happen.

    I reckon Bournemouth, West Brom and especially Fulham are the main contenders, all be it being incredibly early days obviously.

    I am not sure where I ought to have posted this but since the first of these matches in Bournemouth I chose here. While watching the Everton - Burnley match this afternoon and thinking about what is coming up for us, I wrote the following. I am not really a prophet as a look at the prediction league will prove, but...

    Next 7 matches:

    3 away and 4 at home, including the League Cup against Everton. I am worried about these matches mainly because they will be a real test of the team. The three league matches are all winnable games and in my humble opinion they have to be won. I would not be happy with a repeat of the Reading result in any of these three.

    The away matches will show whether we have what it takes for a run at the Premier League ( I am not too sure how we would fare if we were actually in the PL but first we have to get there). If we get 9 points at home, I would be positively thrilled if we ended up with 11 after the Fulham match. I will, of course, not make this same prediction in the prediction league – where my prediction will be all 18.

    I actually like Cup runs but Everton are looking seriously good just now and with the other matches at this point in the season, the Carabao Cup might just be what we don’t need worrying about right now. I wouldn’t say no to a win but as I write this they are all over Burnley and are only a GD of 3 away from being top of the PL

    I just logged in with a Netherlands VPN and the game is not on sale on QPR+. However, that doesn't mean it won't be announced and appear later on. Things often happen last minute.

    I feel confident it will be on in some capacity. But sometimes the game appears with a really limited dark market and even Netherlands won't get you in, which would mean you'd need a paid VPN that has more server locations.
