Genuinely think we just haven't got the attacking players in form......any of them. With the system we play, we can't afford to give the ball away cheaply as we get outnumbered at the back.

Rodrigo should have put us one up. If Bamford had a first touch working today he would have been one on one twice. Ayling should have headed it. Liverpool could and should have more than one. Harrison, Bamford, Raphinha and Rodrigo just can't seem to string two passes together and it's just coming straight back and because our full backs are sprinting forward to support the attacks we are left outnumbered at the back. It's happened over and over again.
Think Ayling, Harrison and Cooper have been really poor. Passing isn’t good enough and Cooper is not a player you want on a yellow with how he plays, walking a tightrope now. Think we could do with getting Klich and James on tbh. Saying this we’re only 1-0 down so anything can happen but serious improvement needed. Not all bad though because we could’ve had a couple ourselves with the Rodrigo and Ayling chances. Rodrigo should be scoring that early chance and it’s a bit of a different and open game. Frustrating.

Well only good thing here is it's only 1-0, should have gone ahead first, poor from Rodrigo but since then it's been mainly been backs to the wall, good chance for Ayling but **** all else. So much space in midfield for them to come forward, Rodrigo mainly a passenger again, expect him off after 10 minutes if not at half time, who will replace him though Roberts or James wide and Raph going inside
Mane,Salah,Jota are pulling our back 4 apart like a dog with a toy. Only good thing about that half its only 1-0 because the game should be over. I laughed when Sniffer said sell Llorente but he has a point, the guy is made of candy. Is this why we got him so cheap? The guy might be the best CB we have but a dozen games a season isn’t good enough. I’m regretting wanting Alioski replaced now, Firpo hasn’t a clue how to defend, I’m shocked at how poor he is.
Cooper has been poor. Harrison is leaving Firpo with Alexander Arnold AND Salah to deal with. He's not made Alexander Arnold defend yet. I would put James out there and try to nullify that threat. Rodrigo didn't track Matic for the goal and that is Rodrigos problem as a midfielder. He doesn't do the dirty work. I think he should be competing with Bamford for the one spot up front. We need a Conor Gallagher type in there with Dallas in front of Phillips. We just can't control possession anymore.
