I just don't think seeing fouling as a sign of effort works.. I think it was more a case of a game plan being executed quite well.

If you look at the chances nufc had 1st half where willock and Longstaff could've played Joelinton in for a 6 yard tap in and the keeper error you'd have to see that it could've been different yesterday.

They were defending well and a threat. After the 2nd it went tits up, but it was close to 2 - 2 and nufc were forced to push for a goal.

I think it's very unfair to be overly critical in this particular game that's all.

I will see how things go in he next 2 as it'll dictate the reality of the situation

Yes I agree. Just having a look at more stats and Hayden didn’t win a tackle, dual or header and he apparently didn’t complete a pass either.

It’s difficult to see the full picture from the highlights (because they where biased forwards manu) and they are a very good team.

But a couple of mates who went said were bent over backwards for them in the second half. Another classic Bruce half time teamtalk is what he said.

I think Hayden was arguably to blame for both goals.. Stood still and let Ronaldo free free in behind him and just didn't make a tackle or foul for the 2nd... He had the opportunity but was too worried to foul

Yeah he's absolutely useless but plenty think he's a must have.

I don't know why.. He does nothing.. That header vs chelsea wheh we mugged them seems to have secured him a starting 11 place for the rest of his career

People think he's this tough tackling holding player. In reality, he's a clumsy oaf who gives away daft fouls all the time and has 0 football ability

Nah he was a proper fighter on the pitch.. I remember him pouring with blood and defending with his heart on his sleeve.

I hear nufc fans calling him a serial loser and that's ridiculous tbh.. The man's been a very successful person

He's not very good at football management in fact I think he's utterly hopeless, but most of stuff levelled at him isn't about that it's brainless nasty nonsense like complaining about his holiday and myths about what's going on behind the scenes.

Fans are going in hard too soon again just like I said they would, but they might end up being made to look daft a 3rd year running, so I'll see how we get on over the next 14 days.

I know I'm like a broken record but they both need dropping for Schar and Fernandez

Morning lads, Caught the extended highlights whilst waiting for the tennis. Firstly you were not as bad as the score line suggests, Ronaldo will not have scored two messier goals, courtesy of your keeper, those two howlers would have embarrassed a Sunday pub side. Secondly, use Joelintons ability to find space, twice he created himself a scoring opportunity, only for his colleagues to select the wrong option.

On a previous thread I suggested that you will not be relegated and offered the three promoted sides to go down. Look at yesterdays results. All three were beaten, and could not muster a goal between them. Wolves scored for the first time this season against Watford who have scored in one game out of four. Norwich are already looking like a basket case, and Brentford, who are mid table having scored three, two less than your lot who have scored five. Don't panic - you are better than the table suggests.

Woodman had a shocker. I think that covers it to be honest. At least he held his hands up and said sorry. Bruno Fernandes goal. Forget Steve Bruce is our manager for a moment. What the **** were all them players watching him line that up playing at? <laugh> Its a shame because they were rattled in that first half.

We played our part in the show...
