Agree. If it had been Wyke he’d be getting grief on here now. Don’t get me wrong - I’m a fan of Stewart. Just saying…

If Neil wasn’t on the rich clubs radar before, he certainly will be now!

Stewart, Gooch and Embleton all had chances and fluffed their lines as it were...

Gooch's first touch is often poor...but he can score the odd goal...so?

Can’t the club appeal the Flanagan yellow? There is very good video evidence of what happened.

I vacillatate in my opinion of Gooch.

Typical of Gooch in the Tinpot final, he had a very poor game, but scored a cracker of a goal to win the cup.

I was on holiday for the first home game of the season, where in most fans minds he was MoM. In the home games since, for me he has not been that good.

So is he in my starting 11, probably not, on the bench definitely.

We do have Broadhead and the new German lad. Diamond and Hawke are out on loan. Try them out?

I personally think Gooch is on borrowed time.

I like the lad and he can play but to be that inconsistent at this level isn’t great.

He’s gotta be massively at risk from Dajaku

    I like gooch
However he does go through long periods of off form
These new sighning will be used I’m sure
Nevertheless I would still like to keep gooch in the match day squad
    At the moment

Ridiculous wasn't it, keeper ran straight into him. Flannavaro wasn't even looking!

Oh aye I’m not suggesting we **** him off mate, he’s a good player, just that he will have to show some sustained form now or he’s gonna be in danger.

He should be ripping holes in this league.

I agree with you. Even though the team as a whole are playing well, anyone who is not having a decent 2, 3 games spell should be seriously worried about their place now we have some serious strength in depth

There's AOB and Broadhead. Dajaku is supposed to be able to play there as well. I doubt they would offer the same kind of presence that Stewart does but they can be listed as options

Watched the full 90 earlier this morning. I didn't realize Onien done his shoulder from that first corner when he went down for the penna shout.
It can't be comfortable for him to play with an injury like that. A fella ran on the pitch at the end to take his top off for him to give it to someone in the crowd. The amount of strapping he had on his shoulder was crazy.

I think going on yesterday’s team sheet and the lack of O’Brien and the young German dajaku
    Johnson may think so

So Accrington v Wigan next week.
A draw and red cards would be nice.
