Travel for derby match

    Stripehampton supporters will have to travel on special coaches for the match in December and can only get their tickets once they are on the coach. The charge for thie coach is £12.

    Rest assured the same conditions will apply for the return match at St Mary's.

    All well and good from a police control viewpoint but what about the fan who lives between the two cities, Stripey fan who lives closer to Portsmouth or the Pompey fan who lives closer to Southampton. What about the fan who lives further afield, as I do. I already have to pay fuel or public transport to get the match, now I have to add another £12 and more time onto my journey if I want to go.

    What say you, especially from the stripey end of the M27 as you have this imposition coming up in 2 months.

    It is a small issue for the sake of harmony leading fish and as i doubt there are many of your 11,000 fans wishing to travel to the Top Team In The South to see a hammering, i expect you to send tickets back. :emoticon-0109-kiss:

    You may well get enough, you could always put some open roof boxes on your coaches for when you pass under the Motorway bridges!<laugh> <laugh>
