Tbh I think he's entitled to a holiday and things were going well second half of last season, but it's not now, so he deserved criticism... He doesn't take it well I just try to be fair mate... Typical of the rags in the North East to be honest. I remember Mourinho saying that the press in Italy were far tougher to negotiate because they asked scathing questions regarding your tactics towards the game, you felt like you had to justify the decisions you made tactically. I wanted to see how much effort we put into the game yesterday. You would think that we would be at them constantly, lots of fouls and some yellow cards in the mix…… NOPE, 2 fouls given away and no yellow cards. Only 2 fouls. That says to me the players didn’t even try to get the ball at all!?
Tbf you've got to be careful not to give away free kicks around the box when Ronaldos on the other team. I think they tried and I think they were a threat. They definitely were in the game, but it sadly didn't work. The next two games are better gauges
Ronaldo isn’t that good at freekicks believe it or not. His conversation ratio for freekicks is actually quite average.
