It is about time that something is done about the timekeeping at games. 5 additional minutes was not enough, and then, when the clock struck 90 the play was stopped for nearly 3 minutes and they made two substitutions after that. the ref blew up exactly on 96 minutes. really annoying because with the 4 minutes that he missed we might well have grabbed a winner. How difficult could it be to have a fifth official with a stopwatch?
It’s these sort of ‘should win’ games then we often lose, so a point isn’t a bad result in my eyes. Expecting to lose on Tuesday so anything would be a bonus
Jack Supple @JTSupple QPR have gone unbeaten in their first eight games of the season in all competitions for the first time since 1975-76 under Dave Sexton.
He's fractions of a second slow atm, but that makes the difference. I'm hoping it's because he's not fully fit yet. Gray looks fast and powerful and his goal should give him confidence
Agree. We really messed up our lead and put ourselves into trouble. Great that we got out of the mess - but I feel it was of our own making.
Don't be too disappointed, according to the Beeb, whilst we had lots of possession 61% and 22 shots, only 4 were on target. So to score two out of four (excluding own goal) is pretty good. Just need a bit more shooting practice.
Poland came in for criticism on here for celebrating a draw against England as if it was the World Cup final. So I was making a loose, tongue in cheek comparison...but if I'd been at Reading, I'd have been jumping around with the rest
This result is very reminiscent of the game v Derby in 2010/11 season. Never say die, never give up. Well done lads and all our fans who took over their ground.
