Does anyone know where I can find a decent quality copy/upload of the video they play before the players emerge? Thanks in advance
There is only one copy and I use it. If the club wanted it out there they would have put it on youtube or on CAFC player
If it was readily available I think it would loose it's appeal at the game. Too much of a good thing....
would you/the club consider releasing it for educational (uni project) purposes? Obviously I wouldnt distribute
Am I the only one who hates that video? I don't need reminding every home game that we USED to be a very good team Paul, any chance you could accidently damage it one home game?
I agree all hell consign it to the crap heap...I also hate the "make some noise for the boys" announcement pre match. Whats worse is when the support has been appalling and the crowd quiet all through the first half we get congratulated and told to keep it up and repeat the noise for the boys crap...hate it. Pre match we want red red robin and thats it..not the led zep thing and other dramatic music it dont work and I find it embarrassing.
I'm afraid I completely agree with you MT and have thought about saying the same thing for a while. It gives the impression the crowd are pretty useless and have to be whipped up before they support the team. Sorry Paul.
Another pretty poor atmosphere at the valley yesterday, started ok but just died pretty silent in the second half.
i actually saw a load of people leaving from the 75th minute. result was done and dusted but still, people should stay till the end. attendance is creeping up aswell. 16700 isnt bad
The attendance was a good positive yesterday, thought the crowd in the 1st half was good. Second half could have been better and I'm one of the one who complains about people leaving early. Can kind of understand when we are 4-0 down, but that was a good win yesterday so stay and applaud the team!
To be fair some people may have very important plans for afterwards and don't want to get caught behind in the post match crowds (for the record I've never left a game early myself). Atmosphere this season has been terrible (compared to previous seasons) if I'm honest, ironic considering how well we've been playing.
Wasn't there a game a couple of years ago against Milton Keynes where we wenr 4-0 up. when the crowd started singing "We want five" they were immediately rewarded with another goal, so there is a lesson to be learned. One thing nobody's mentioned is that Carlisle actually played pretty well with 10 men in the second half, knocking it around quite nicely, so although the match was over in a way there was not the cricket score some of us hoped for either. Maybe if we'd been playing one of our promotion rivals it wouldn't have been so quiet 2nd half.
