Meh! Slow, piss poor football against a very limited opponent, who look much better than us. I'm watching on a laptop with my younger brother in a one horse town 20 miles inland from Valencia. 2 tables away is a local wearing a Spurs polo shirt. He should support Palace
Agree with that. I think it's understandable caution with all the players we have out and Dier joining them leaving us with 2 cbs that haven't played much together but I always think we should push for the win, a loss is never great but it's better to go for 3 points than try and settle for 1, fearing a loss. Think that Jenas is right that we've got a couple of players out there that aren't fully fit too.
With the exception of Lucas, that was pretty awful. Rodon has slotted in well enough so the Dier injury isn't an excuse. Dele adds very little it's sad to say. No influence at all and not even the old bite. Gil would certainly add another dimension, but cannot see Nuno being that bold unless we go behind. And then probably only for the last 5. Hardly 'top of the table' performance so far...
Yup! Club’s still trying to convince itself though that Lo Celso will come good and Dele will recapture his form 3+ years later.
FFS, I walked 5 miles over a Mountain to get here and have got to walk 5 miles back! We left a pool and a fridge full of beer for this!
We are paying the price for yet again ignoring the striker and creative holes in in our squad. We were brutally unlucky over the international break but it has been obvious for 3 seasons that we lack depth of quality in the squad. Chickens always come home to roost... Cock a fecking cockle doo mo fos
Tanganga booked and so is Zaha. Should be off. Should've been a foul on Moura, as Gallagher studs him and gets none of the ball.
