http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/15368908.stm We would have never sold him to Stoke, he would have been better staying with us if they were the only club in for him.
Pulis wouldn't have spent £15m on him. I don't think anyone would have matched that, hence why Arsenal got him.
This is laughable - The BBC is in danger of turning into a irritating red-top tabloid with a non-story like this. Who really cares whether Stoke tried to buy Chamberlain? They didn't, Arsenal did, end of story as far as i'm concerned.
Indeed. Must admit, I find all the opinionated stuff, passed as news, a total bore. Currently, on the BBC Football webpage, there's news about Gerrard, who sometimes feared he might come back from injury, or there's Alex Ferguson who accepts the sending off of Vidic, in their latest game. I mean, what kind of news is this..? It's column inches packing, that's all. The actual news was that Gerrard came back from injury a few weeks ago, and that Vidic was sent off, last night [Tuesday] and that's it. Bloody hell, next we'll be hearing how Gerrard occasionally visits a Red Deer farm prior to match day, or something like that, to make him feel more positive.
