Cmon Michelle, surely you can see the bigger picture? It's about the laws of the land, these people occupied a bit of land illegally and started building settlements on this land. What happened to "One Struggle"?
There are legit sites dotted around most towns and cities but I doubt the Dale Farm evictees will bother using them. Chances are every lay-by or Asda car park in a 50 mile radius will become their next pitch. Home isn't always back to Ireland for many travellers, you will find a large percentage are 2nd or 3rd generation although listening to them you'd be forgiven for thinking they had just rolled off the ferry from Dublin. Interesting to see how much the numbers were swelled by 'protesters' who weren't anything to do with living on Dale Farm. Another example of rent-a-mob (a bit like Rent-a-Ghost but without the jester) who turn up to have a chance to chuck bricks at the constabulary. There is absolutely nothing stopping a bunch of Romany Gypsies parking up in the nearest green bit where you live and doing the same. All you can hope for is that your local council is on the ball and serves/enforces notices quick sharp and not leave it dragging for 10 years. Expensive? Yes it is. Worth it? Every last penny.
I can think of a good use for the olympic stadium after next years event. On second thoughts what self respecting Pikey would lower themselves to living in East London.
I have no time for these ****ers. I used to do volunteering work with the SSPCA and the SWT and we often had to look after animals (mostly dogs) these 'travellers' used to abandon. In many cases they would tie the dog to a fence or a tree and just drive away and leave it there. And the ****ing mess they left behind! Then I got a job with the DWP and used to visit sites to help these ****s claim benefits while passing their trucks and vans on the way in. They want to live outside the rules the rest of us have to live with but when it suits them they're quite happy to take advantage of the benefits and legal systems. **** 'em.
Send them home tell them to do their traveling and set up illegal sites in Ireland, why do they come over here anyway?
They come in handy for lucky heather, clothes pegs, removing lead from church roofs and if you need the drive tarmac doing. Apart from that, what have Pikeys ever done for us?
By definition they shouldnt want a permenant site anyway. How can you be a TRAVELLER who refuses to move ffs.
Before I moved to the Fens I lived in Essex and it is full of pikeys. Essex would be a much nicer place if all of the pikeys suddenly died.
Leave them alone - they are not doing any harm, poor things. Why cant all humans show compassion and love everybody as equals
Because we aren't all equal, that's why there are special schools for those who are too thick to think and special olympics for those who are disabled, as for these creatures, until they learn to live by the same rules that everyone else does, you shouldn't be classing them as humans, they are just animals who happen to resemble some people
Yes it was, I could just as easily have written a witty response with no substance, but I've always felt that when replying to delusional comments, a truthful retort is better than a nonsensical one, no matter how interesting it may be.
