It would have left us short upfront if he'd have gone so i still think its strange we were prepared to let him go. Its good to hear that he's chomping at the bit to get on the pitch and its unfortunate for him he's paying the price in having a much stronger squad now than last season. This international break has fecked things up, but there's dozens of games to be played and im sure he'll get plenty of opportunities, he just needs to be patient.

"It's up to him to work his way into the team, but it's also on us to manage him.
