My favourite bit about this is the Spurs Argentinians should have quarantined for 20 days as Brazilian health officials insisted they had to quarantine before entering and we require them to quarantine on return .

Sadly I think Frank Murphy's injured, depriving him of his dream debut.

yup. the reality is its a no lose scenario.

We just have to say no and its a 5 day ban. forever.

so no country in south america should get any players. period.

you lose the player for a month as their fitness is ruined by the quarantine or you accept a 2 week rest and training followed by a single match ban unless you are unlucky.

If the clubs really got hard line on this FIFA and the authorities would have to change the rule or climb down off the high horse.

    Klopp on Brazil players' availability
Leeds v Liverpool (Sun, 16:30 BST)

Before facing the media later, Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp has spoken to the club website about the availability of his Brazilian players for Sunday's trip to Leeds.

Alisson Becker and Fabinho are currently ineligible to play having not travelled to represent their country in recent international matches.

“I don’t know what will happen at the weekend, to be honest. In this moment, we have to see what other people decide and then we will again accept that probably, do what people tell us and try to win a football game," Klopp told liverpool.com

“But the whole situation is really just like the whole world in the moment in a nutshell – ‘Ah, in football they have these problems as well.’ Yes, we have these problems. And now we will see who finds the solution.”

    extra rest for the CL.

I fail to see the big deal personally.

    Kelleher
    Trent Matip VVD Robertson
    Thaigo Henderson elliott
    Salah Jota Mane

that side shoudl be able for leeds even if its two world class players light.

Yeah nobody should have fabinho as no 6 players in ff are pointless. Their maximum theoretical score is nothing compared to packing out with attackers.

Alisson is too expensive when you can have trent in and robertson. After that obviously silva or fred are no good as one isnt playing and the other is ****.

I think we should make the argument that Allison was wearing a merkin so it would be inaccurate to describe him as a Brazilian.

In other news, Karius is thinking "oh ****, I have to get in shape again before the weekend, and I thought I had the year off."

He may not play, but with Allison out, he is now the backup.

Premier League players cleared to play this weekend by Fifa after Brazil, Chile, Mexico and Paraguay agree to waive automatic 5-day restriction.

Thought this was inevitable tbh as the clubs were prepared to take this to court with PL blessing .
