Think of this for instance a very very important documentary by John pilger about the sell off of our NHS was stopped from bring aired until after the election........now in who's interests did they have in mind when they denied the public information which could have changed the election results.

This problem is further compounded when it comes to covid as they are not just putting themselves at risk. Hiag nearly killed his missus as well as himself as a result of buying into this nonsense.

He was bright enough to except the risks on the information available and I've no doubt his wife didn't have a gun held to her head and also made a choice of her own

Except the information he was reading led him to make a fatal decision, so you have to conclude that it was flawed info.

His wife said in media interviews that he convinced her not to have the vaccine, a decision that she will regret for the rest of her life.

Not really......I'm sure the press wouldn't sensationalise a story which promotes vaccine uptake init.........she regrets not having it but has survived it like he said she would.....seems he may have been half right anyway <laugh>

She nearly died mate and her partner HIAG did. Between them, they almost orphaned their two kids.

If they'd had a vaccine, none of this **** would have happened.

So they claim.......and you have agreed to go with it.......still doesn't make either of us anymore knowledgeable on said subject but it does make us feel better about our views being backed up by the clever people.

On one side we have your crowd who only have to move thy lips to know they are lying and on the other side we have supposedly Billy Bob in his camper van in nevada posting crap to ewtube.

So basically we are both taking risks.....and clearly both are confident it won't happen to little ole me.

    Role that dice

I've got no beef with Aber. Man is sound imo, and I like it that he doesn't take anything at face value.

That said, you have to sort out the opinion from demonstrable facts. It's okay being sceptical and an inquisitive mind is good. But you've got to know when to understand what is real and what is just subjective opinion.

Yeah, it's difficult to talk about it without making huge generalisations, and as I said before it's more nuanced that that. When I talk about Billy Bob in his trailer, I'm talking about the more extreme end of it, but it's incredible how much this stuff filters through to 'ordinary' folk. My take is that people are right to be suspicious of Govt and right to question the info they give to us. 'My crowd' isn't this Govt, I know they are a bunch of liars. But I do trust the scientists who work diligently for decades at their work, testing and retesting their theories in the real world in order to arrive at the best thing we have to scientific absolutes.

The Covid vaccine is testament to the good work that scientists do. Society will benefit from that by suppressing the worst of the illness from Coronavirus, which will allow people to largely go about their business without being impeded by the dictates of Govt lockdowns. I think there's a massive irony from those who complain about the lockdowns and then complain about the very thing that has freed us from lockdowns.

    Life is risky mate.

    But it's about calculated risk.

Folk like HIAG thought taking the vaccine was more risky than relying on his immune system to deal with the virus

    and he was wrong.

The first time I saw that my first thought was how do we know the steel in the forge was identical to the one lifting the anvil

In a supervised experiment the same piece used to lift the anvil would be heated in the forge

    Question everything
