I can answer this Rob; we have a better trade deal with Japan than the EU.
Our deal includes being able to export them British cheeses tariff free. The Japanese pay tax on the other EU cheeses, making them more expensive.

I could offer counter arguments about self righteous, middle class, remainers crowing on about our nations weaknesses and failures but it would be pointless, greed and selfishness prove nothing to the suffering , we are not a member of the club, the thick, bigoted , uneducated, racist majority voted out, we now are an independent, self governing nation, our government and mp's are servants of the people, we don't like them or their actions we can boot them out, we are now not suffering from over paid, unelected fatcats in Brussels commanding us how to behave or live our lives.

We all knew and indeed I stated it in many debates on here that when we left there would be uncertainties, new habits, some disappointment, we could struggle re- establishing our selves in the global markets but we would come out of the other end proud, finacially stable and free of the shackles of the United States of Europe,it's happening for all of the snide comments and remarks amazing results await, the groundwork is done, we are starting to recover, that is why half the world are so desperate to come here, live and seek a future.

The global pandemic is simply a fact, the nations of the world are dealing with it, it's not an excuse, it's a tragedy, we have all lost precious lives, 2 years and spent trillions trying to deal with it, we have to get used to the stinking bug in our lives but we will prevail.

Remember the old slogan we are still a part of Europe, an independent part but not, thank god a part of the EU.
