Just listened to the Jeff Whitley interview on the BBC website Sunderland page and it’s a hard story of Cocaine and Alcohol abuse. He seems to have been through the mill a bit and maybe hopefully he has come through the other end okay. He even said he wanted to die at one point.

Now, Jeff Whitley is one of the poorest footballers to ever wear the r&w stripes and maybe this revelation explains why he was so ****e but I couldn’t help feel a lot genuine compassion for the lad listening to his story. It effects so many people and not just the abuser.

Addictions are a terrible thing and sometimes rather than turn our backs and scorn them, we should listen to people with these awful diseases of drug and alcohol addictions and abuses.

That’s the sensible compassionate Cest over for the day? Lol

I´d suggest he wasn´t taking coke when he was with us, more likely a hazardous amount of skunk.

If drugs are to blame for our players being **** then Whitehead must surely have been born Dean Winehouse.

"He even said he wanted to die at one point." Funny I could have killed him several times!!! A useless tool if ever I saw one...fitted in here though. Never mind. Time to stuff Bolton, eh?
