Lol my school offered **** all. I reckon they got the cover supervisors and TAs to do it all so they thought they had won the lottery with how **** they are usually paid
That’s just not good for the kids though is it and defeats the object. That’s actually a bit of a disgrace. We used our best teachers, paid them well for it and the uptake for the kids was amazing: The things that where taught where proper food aswell. The AH that ran it she’s ridiculously passionate about education. She put her heart and soul into it. I also got her a 1k honorarium payment. For her hard work. The way I look at it it was a great opportunity to bond the new year 7 kids with the teachers and invested in the project. It wasnt just study study. It was a way of easing them in, breaking barriers and it’s really set the tone. I actually feel quite proud of it.
Sadly my school is part of an academy chain and we're not the top dogs. Fair play to you for your work. If I'd been a teacher at your school and you were getting me that pay I would have got you a crate of beer
