Nicolás Millán At the age of fourteen years, nine months and three days, Nicolas '75 goal a season' Millan made history as the youngest player to feature in a Chilean professional game, so when Football Manager 2007 came around, the Colo Colo striker was the biggest wonderkid in the game. By the time he was 21, Millan would dominate world football with his incredible finishing and composure but in real life, his career didn't exactly pan out the way Football Manager predicted. Chelsea reportedly tried to take the starlet on trial in 2006, with Everton allegedly showing interest as well, but after he left Colo Colo back in 2012 after loan spells at Rivadavia, Tigre, and Naval, he is currently playing his football in the third level of Chilean football with Deportes Puerto Montt. please log in to view this image
So its 2033, john henry has just sold a completely debt free Liverpool to a Qatari consortium. Straight away they cut the 340m transfer budget id saved up for a few windows and left me with 14m.... Shocked and angry... i went to check my finances to which i find a bank loan debt of 100m theyve taken out. They have also told me i need to cut my wage bill from 8m down to 6m and have just given me 300k to start off the 33/34 season. Trust us to be taken over by the tightest fukin arabs known to man Im thinking i might resign tbh. ****in ****s
Yeh. Among other games. Coming up 13 seasons i think. Basically the best manager ever known to man. Ive refused the last two contract offers from the tight as **** arabs, dunno what hapoens if i keep refusing but ill find out soon i guess.
When you've been promoted 3 times in a row with a team in L2 that's £20m in debt at the start of the game, and then become European champions a few seasons later, come back and talk. until, then you can only claim to be the 2nd best...
About to get Bath City promoted to Championship after back to back promotions from Skril South in FM2014. That's four promotions in four years! Yeah, I'm cheating, I get myself $300mill seed money when I started the game... But that's beside the point... I've used barely any of it because no one wants to join me in the Bath.
I was wrong in my previous quote, I was actually £40m in debt at the start, I spent about $40k to get to the premier. I thin my best management 'achievement' was European champions with Luton in one of the LMA games, I 'broke' it and was stuck in the premier with the wage budget for players and coaches stuck at championship level. Every season I'd have to sell my best paid player to make space in the budget for contract renewals and replace them with a £250pw trainee. I did have a 999,999,999 balance and the top tier stadium named after me though
Yeah, not sure how FFP is calculated in FM2014, but my limitation for signing people isn't my wage budget, it's FFP budget. FFP won't let me spend more than $30k or so per week on players. It's a huge slap in the face. What's the point in cheating and giving yourself £300mil, like I did, if you can't use it.
I had a massive gap in gaming didn't play games at all for about 15 years, it was a bit mind blowing going from Sonic on the Mega Drive to COD.
