Roglic stamps his authority in La Vuelta, can't see him being caught now.

after snatching victory from the jaws of defeat a couple of times this tournament the opposite happened today with the slight proviso that the japs shooting 2nd half was excellent but we lost the plot to help them .

Russell and Latifi have just binned both Williams into the barriers in quali.

This track should make for a good race, hopefully.

Basically he had loads in his pocket over hamilton.

The race tomorrow is going to be interesting as the most inventive driver will progress while the dullard will not be able to get by as the drs zones are short.

The banked corners enable loads of lines through each corner so looking g forward to seeing this

Actually very close. Max improved his time by 0.038s without using DRS. Lewis was 0.038s away from him. Would have been equal had Max not improved (I know Max would have had pole still)

Yeah but he lost out due to not having drs on that final drag. Hamilton had it wide open so that suggests theres at least 0.2second more there.

this is risky from mercedes. They've thrown hamilton into traffic here and verstappen has covered the move. The only benefit here is verstappen has put the wrong bloody tyres on!!

Pit stops are done but verstappen is on the wrong tyre for 31 laps.

I am so sick of watching bottas waste that Mercedes car and pick up trophies for being in it despite not deserving them. Failed to hold up verstappen, failed to run at a decent clip, failed to stay involved in the race and generally russell cannot come soon enough.

I am all in favour of shoving bottas a wedge and telling him he is done now and bring in russell.

this is where hamilton does himself no favours. He didnt tell his team no, now he is bitching and moaning non stop and making it a big deal. He was never fast enough to get verstappen so he will end up second no matter what. Reality check was the useless bottas was out of it so the only chance they had was take a gamble and hope verstappen stayed out.

But no he has to whine and moan. Then pump in fastest lap just to prove his tyres cant possible last lol.

why do sky feel the need to put up a made up graphic about tyre wear. They just showed verstappen who is only 18 laps into hard types as 10% left on rear lefts. Utter rubbish. Mean time hamilton is still proving his whinging utterly pointless. he is assured of 2nd no matter what here. Hes done his level best to push verstappen through.

I think the commentators were right in saying they had little choice but they didn't need to go that early

easy win in the end. Hamilton gives the diametric opposite message at end after listening to the whinge for 30 laps. And the crowd go wild. Best crowds l have seen in 5 or 6 years minimum at f1. The ferrari first wins, Schumacher german crowds and the clearly British f1 gps for hamilton were like this stuff.

Far far too many nothing ****holes in the desert or being watched by rich people who have no real interest. F1 will want to get back to globetrotting and forget how they had to rely on smaller european circuits to keep going for 2 years

probably not but they had no hope really, if they left it later maybe they push verstappen into a hard call between hard and soft tyres as he had no mediums but I reckon verstappen could have sped up there at any time and really this track is like Hungary. Track position is everything.

if Bottas had anything about him, he'd have followed through with that fastest lap rather than bottling it in the final sector..

Really hope Russell doesn't accept playing second fiddle.

you need a track invasion like when Mansell won in 92 at Silverstone( videos on youtube but blocked here.) seen it a few times in the past .
i was hoping for more from Zandvoort as in the main i think modern F1 is boring .
