Merc should have gone head to head with RBR on the hards- it’s a good tyre today and Merc loves the harder compounds.

Safety Car to give Lewis a fresh set of hards and Max a set of medium scrubbed would be interesting for the final 15 laps.

 

Hamilton: My tyres won’t make it.

They could pit him, have Bottas let him through and just hope for a safety car.

 

Well, Lewis's limited the damage to 6 points, can't see anyone taking that FL away, so not been as bad of a day as it could've been.
Personally I'm happy to see Kubica holding his own, that's what I'm taking away fro this race.

there's no gain, they aren't going to catch 3 seconds a lap, and if they pit so will RBR, which will give Max the extra point for FL.

 

Why do Merc just sit on their damn hands all the time? Frustrating as hell.

 

Hope for a safety car.

 

It would have to be as perfectly timed as Singapore '08, because if Lewis goes in, Max goes in next lap for fresh softs and does quali laps.

 

Is Bottas about to steal the fastest lap off Lewis?

 

They may as well pit Lewis then.
