I’ve been out and about this weekend so this is the first time I’ve seen the track. Banking and elevation changes are nuts, in a good way. I do fear a procession though.

 

Looks like it's not going to be a good weekend for McLaren. Ferrari will be happy.

 

Gotta hope Merc and Red Bull are going different strats at this point.

 

That flat spot will make Perez’s teeth rattle.

Only thing unexpected for me is the lack of safety cars.

 

Bottas defo not driving for Merc next year.

 

Everyone in the pit lane seems to know it’s George next year. As I said earlier, the lack of an announcement is becoming increasingly farcical.

 

Imagine all has to be formal before they can do an official announcement.

 

We will see how long Bottas can hold up max now!

Yeah, it’s all about finding a place for Bottas, sorting out any issues around Albon (which seems to revolve around him still being a Red Bull driver) etc. I do feel sorry for Russell finding it increasingly difficult to keep a straight face under questioning though. Plus I want to hear it officially!

 

Have Max and Lewis handed Valtteri the ace here?

IF Bottas could hold this pair up and burn Max’s tyres with dirty air, Bottas could one stop this on the hard tyre and hold track position.

Suppose all depends on whether he can hold them off on the pit straight into T1

 

He's typically not a great blocker. So they'll likely sail past.
