Wow Just watched the first episode and feel exactly the same as you. Incredible to hear the stories and see the bravery of those men and women, including citizens (eg the Irish guy). Been twice, the first time just under 2 years after it happened, where everything was boarded off, the second time being able to walk round the remembrance garden, with a tree that survived!!
I remember watching the programme shot by the TV crew who just happened to be embedded with one of the fire houses at the time. That was really moving.
Yeah, seen that one but I am drawn to any programme about this but this one was something else. There are another 5 episodes to watch but we said we couldn't watch another one straight after, such was the intensity/drama, so will have to space them out.
