Yep, they'll be all fired up, so unless the lads get off the blocks quickly it could be another bad day at the office.
Or Barrow could lose 6-0 again for the second time in a week! Tempted to change my score prediction but I'll probably leave things as they are!
Barrow and Hartlepool, two very long journeys, will rovers fly up, stay over night or leave the Mem @ 5am?
Annoyingly, they ain't a Saturday then Tuesday so Rovers could stay up north and do some bonding. So as you say, 2 long journeys. Oh well, there is Barton's excuses already lined up for him.
1-1 and we’ve played 20mins of the 2nd half against 10 men without having a single shot. Just what the **** is going on?
I actually listened to the game today. I was doing some stuff in the garden so I thought get the old radio out and put some music on. When I put the radio on, it automatically started playing the channel that was last on which was BBC Radio Bristol and kick off was just about to start. I ended up listening to the whole game. I wish I didn't though. I will think twice next time. 9 of Barrow's players played midweek in the cup and ran their socks off even though they lost by a lot. So they were suppose to be tired, especially when they dropped to 10 men. But they sounded like they were the team with the 11 men and we had the 10 men. I am a Wael supporter and I am very thankful for what he has done for the club. However since the hiring of Barton and how he has dealt with certain situations like the Barton assault situation with his wife and that he keeps letting Barton continue on doing a crap job, the longer Wael keeps allowing this to happen, the more I am losing faith in Wael's ability to run this club.
Nicholson scores for Rovers 1 - 0 up Harvey Saunders scores a 2nd 2 - 0 Ward in goal Belshaw on the bench Jaakkola not fit or not wanted??? Daly scored for Stevenage tonight why did we ever let him leave We won pity it wasn't a game of importance instead of the pizza cup
Hopefully it will breed confidence. But it was against an inexperienced young side. See what happens against Tom Nichols on Saturday
Tony Craig, Sam Matthews and Tom Nichols 3 players with points to prove expected to play for the opposition, it could be a cricket score on Saturday still if it is we might just see the back of Barton
Belshaw Harries, Taylor, Kilgour, Anderson, Saunders, Grant, Finley C, Collins, Evans, Nicholson subs Ward, Anderton, Coutts, Spence, Clarke, Pitman, Rodman Thought we were the home side today they have had 9 shots to our 1, 6 on target to our 0
Leon Clarke replaces Collins at the start of the 2nd half and scores his first goal Rovers 1 - 0 Crawley Evans injured Coutts replaces him 66th minute Anderton replaces Nicholson who has picked up an injury in the 72 minute All subs now used hope we don't pick up any more injuries Following the game on I follow live text and I think the better team lost today
I know the 3 points were the most important thing today and somehow we got them - albeit not deservedly so. I followed the game on a mixture of BBC and online feeds, and was fully expecting an equaliser at any given moment, by reading the reports and comments being made. I suppose credit must go to the lads for digging in and keeping Crawley at bay but they seem to be in that position far too often, especially in games that they really should be winning more easily. I guess I'd feel pretty hard done by if I was a Crawley supporter, but for us, the win was the most important factor, regardless how messy or fortunate it was. Hopefully this will act as a springboard now to improve confidence and keep us heading in the right direction - maybe!!
