My friend who is a marshal at Silverstone says Kimi is one of her favourite drivers because he always remembers the marshals and, she says, he has a wicked sense of humour. She told me that Kimi’s “grumpy” persona is all an act and he’s known as a party animal. I’ll miss him - he’s given us many great moments. Thanks Kimi!
That's a lot of words to say "he's Finnish". I know a Finnish motorcycle racer. He's in his 80s now, and still loves his vodka, and he's still completely incomprehensible with or without it...I once had a 30 minute conversation with him where the only words I understood would get smacked down by the filter here. Someone who knew him back in the day was telling me about being at an event where his gearbox grenaded, so he worked through the night rebuilding it by hand for the next day's race, swigging from his bottle and mumbling curses, with his campfire for light. He won the race. Finns are a different sort.
If you have not seen them before , search on you tube for Marc Priestly ( ex F1 mechanic ) and kimi raikonnen . Good fun . No,kimi , just stories from Marc .
I'm not a huge tennis person, but I feel confident in stating that Carlos Alcaraz is going to win a whole bunch of majors. Just an absurd display of precision shot-making from an 18 year old to beat the #3 seed in the US Open.
I’m probably gonna get hammered here but here we go …… getting really peed off with BBC Sport pushing WSL ridiculously hard. Apart from the obvious, anyone else interested? Ps. Personally I’ve got more interest in ….. anything
