To be fair, I'd rather have a load of pikeys in a field near my house then every other house on my street being paid for by me and around 40 million other mugs whilst the inhabitants of said houses compete with each other to get on Jeremy Kyle. A lass that I'm shagging's cousin got moved into a council house about 2 months ago because she's pregnant and wanted to move out of her mum's (even though there's nothing wrong with her mum's place and there is plenty room). Now she is elligible to receive £1000 CASH if she moves to a slightly smaller council house to allow a larger family to move into the one she has just been given! I despair.
"The eviction, which could cost up to £18m, marks the end of a 10-year battle between travellers, who bought a former scrap yard on green belt land in 2001 and established their caravans there, and the council." 18 million A couple of cruise missiles would have been cheaper or as we`re such a caring nation we could have built them all luxury detached houses and bunged them a couple of grand each as a goodwill gesture
Yay for evicting some people who I probably wouldn't like, in a part of the country which is not near me, I've probably never been to and which doesn't really affect me.
