I loved how he forgot that his name and number weren't on his back when he began his signature celebration! :emoticon-0136-giggl

But City Man is clearly concerned about the possibility of Sterling missing a match.

Sterling could end world hunger and City Man would still call him an attention-seeking **** for it. Probably the same reason the likes of Souness rip into Pogba for hinting he wants to leave Man Utd but England’s blonde-haired, blue-eyed golden boy captain gets excuses made for him for trying to push a move to Man City.

So basically, you're morally inconsistent. You have an issue with Sterling taking his shirt off to show support for somebody, but Billy Sharp doing the exact same thing you have no concerns about whatsoever.

But then according to your previous statements, he's probably only in the squad as a "quota filler", right?

I think Sterling is a bit of a ****er like most players in the current Engkland team - simple as, old boy.

    Don't sweat it

I’m more proud of the current England team, than any other England team I’ve supported.

The captain is a cheat for a start off with his diving <laugh>

A bunch of vain, foolish, narcissistic young men some of whom deliberately cheat as part of their game

Might be some good eggs in there, but as a bunch there's some wrong uns.

Some decent larkers though when they play by the rules and focus on what they're paid (well) to do.

You could be describing almost any team there.
In my opinion the game is killing itself from the inside out.
Unfortunately no one is doing anything to stop it.
Referees give spurious decisions to aid cheating.
Pundits make excuses for the cheats.
    All teams are at it.
Governing bodies do nothing about it.
We still pay good money to watch it.
The greed in the game, don’t get me started about that! 350k, 400k 500k a week ffs!!!
Most clubs carrying debts the size of a small country.
    End of rant.

Two of the best pundits are Keane and Souness.

But both can be seen on Youtube committing assaults on fellow professionals.

Less integrity than ever in the game.

MSM in the the thrall of PL $$$ and fear being excluded from the party..

Maybe they could improve themselves as men if they went on a football forum and spent every day and night trying to wind everyone up?

It just depends on what they want out of life I suppose. Bags of money, girls, fancy cars and houses, or just to sit at home, go on social media and try to show people how clever they are.

    I know where I'd rather be :emoticon-0138-think

Imagine being this person. The one who wakes up in the morning and says “I know, I’ll slag off the most popular and principled England squad for decades, based on absolutely nothing apart from a few prejudices. That’ll make me look worthwhile and relevant and edgy.”

    Just imagine being that person.

I agree with that for the most part. That being said, not playing in these qualifiers at all or refusing to turn up to Qatar if we do qualify would make this England team the most principled one to exist. It’s a ****ing disgrace it’s going forward.

Why watch the England team if that is your opinion of them.
