Jakupovic is still my favourite ever keeper. He was just one of those players that brought more to the team than just his performance. He entertained. I think that's important, especially in today's game.
Yep, a totally unnecessary yellow for 'Sterls' Hopefully 'Southers; will fine the **** ( & maybe get someone to coach him for final third decision-making)
Why have you got a problem with him showing love for people he cares about? I'm sure as one of the world's best wingers, he needs plenty of improvement.
Are you aware that there's more to life than football? Because he is, and he's still brilliant at it. The man has a heart and soul and I applaud him for it.
I haven't read this anywhere, so if it was mentioned apologies, but Ahmed Salam attended the Egypt first team's training camp in August.
Couldn't he just show his love for the people he cares about by having a tat of a firearm on his leg?
Agreed. He's a famous PL footballer. He can, and does, make statements any time he wants and people will listen. Being an ambassador is good, mmm'kay. Not disputing that. However, doing it on the pitch and deliberately collecting a yellow card could have an impact on England's chances to progress in the competition (although it is pretty unlikely to have any effect in this group). Also, the incitement in a potentially hostile environment was reckless and stupid.
What Billy Sharp does or did or didn't do is no concern of mine, soi that would be a no. Are there any other obscure or irrelevant events in the last 15 years to which you want to compare Sterling's ****ishness ?
I see Ronaldo misses the next match after removing his shirt after his double. The only message underneath was "Look how ****ing ripped I am". ****.
