Loafs of players? I though SAFC had a monopoly on that given they were inbred?

I don’t understand why we are loaning an unknown player, paying 3.5€ when it’s an 18 month loan?

He’s not going to be playing first team football so it doesn’t make sense to me am I missing something here?

The thing is it would appear we've signed one of mexicos best young players according to the fans over there, so strip away all the crap about money and it's only a good thing.

This is the problem with nufc fans and fans in general.. If nufc paid 20 million for him they'd be tossing themselves off

But we have NOT bought him? We have loaned him. And he’s not going to kick a ball for us?

I should have said your missing my point. If we had bought him for that money for future then I would understand.

What I don’t understand is paying a loan fee for an 18 year old who isn’t going to play first team football?

It doesn't matter he's here and available at whatever level.

They can look at him and of he's what they think he is they can cough up he agreed purchase that's already been set.

If they'd done that with Joelinton they'd have saved 38 million and could have bought someone good

Are you admitting that Joelinton is in fact ****?

He's not a very good player, but we've got worse

I personally don't think they paid 40 Million.

He's another one who has not had a fair crack of the whip. Been on his back since day 1. Couldn't be smart about it, forget the fee and support the lad. I don't think the fans are aware how poisonous they are. You mentioned Millwall fans, and despite their obvious downsides, the sporting aspect, they support their team and players. In many ways NUFC fans are far more toxic. They are particularly unforgiving of foreigners.

In its own the point re Joe is correct. However because the fans have had THAT much **** ti deal with of late it escalates quickly.

It’s just another ****ing mistake the club has made (buying Joelinton). He’s not actually that bad a footballer but his confidence is shot and he is clearly NOT a striker. Which unfortunately he was brought in to be.

The price tag doesn’t help agreed but he sighed the contract and getting paid extremely well. And has not delivered (Yet).

Let's he honest they've chased out plenty of players that were actually good enough over the years.

The thing is that nufc fans are blaming Bruce for everything, but also suggesting the players aren't good enough.

    Which is it?

In this scenario and purely on Bruce and Joe it’s a bit of both.

There’s a player in there with Joe. But he’s more or less been asked to do a job he can’t do. That’s Bruces fault for playing him out of position for most of his time here and that’s not Joes fault.

So what thats done it’s affected the quality of his play. Having said that when he has played in his natural position which I think is where ASM plays he’s not done an awful lot either.

Do the players aren't good enough?

So then surely it's not Bruce's fault?

Bruce has played him in the wrong position on many occasion. That’s Bruces fault.

When playing in his preferred position. He’s not performed. That’s Joes fault.

On either case the transfer has not worked out and its a flop given we paid 40m. That’s the clubs fault.

I agree Bruce's got things wrong mate, but ultimately he's done his job and finished mid table twice now.

This season he's started badly, so he's up against it early.

I just think nufc fans showed their true colours when they continued to bitch at him when things were going well last season.

I dislike his personality more than the games honestly.

McClaren was worse, but he was nicer.

First thing that came to mind. Like a League One manager in an FA Cup game, just happy to attend.
