Test cricket is ****ing great mate. Not for everyone though, some people just don't have the patience. I think its a struggle for the younger generation who prefer everything now now now so they tend to prefer T20 or other sports which finish in an 1-2 hrs. As opposed to 5 days The battle between bat and ball when it gets feisty is great sport. There is nothing better than see a fast bowler batting getting bounced by the oppo bowlers. You can see him thinking "I can't wait to bowl at your head you ****". They've stopped some of the chit chat which is a shame. Some of the craic down the years has been great. Like when Glenn McGrath was getting frustrated the Zimbabwe batsmen Eddo Brandes was delaying the end of a match by having a swing at his bowling with the great success. Glenn McGrath asked Eddo, ”Why are you so fat?” (Eddo was an old school tubby batsmen) Eddo didn’t miss the opportunity and quickly replied, “Because every time I make love to your wife, she gives me a biscuit.” McGrath was not amused. But the Australian slip cordon fell about laughing, which further gave McGrath the hump. I love the ebb and flow of Test Cricket, you're generally always in the game unless you've had an almighty collapse batting wise. So the upper hand can switch constantly over the 5 days, making it a great sporting contest.

I might be the only person on the planet who actually likes what he’s says. He gives a great insight into what it’s like to be a premiership owner. I know he hates our guts (nufc fans) and is a mate of Bruce but he does say it how it is. I also agree he can be a grade A dickhead.
I agree It's a vicious circle in which the idiot nufc fanbase hears things they don't like and start peppering the person that said it on Twitter etc with foul abuse, so obviously they make it personal and that person over time builds up a dislike for nufc and says more things the nufc fans don't like. So they abuse on twitter and it snowballs and just keeps going on and on
Yeah our fans are visceral and immediately jump to insults or derision. They can't seem to hold an adult conversation or accept any criticism. A lot of it is borne out of a lack of intellect and free use of a computer. Most of them just need a good shake and told to stop being part of the over sensitive pussy generation. People are allowed to hold critical views of our club and fans.
